MESSING UP HIS PLAN by Robert Soto

MESSING UP HIS PLAN by Robert Soto

Genesis 1:28 "God blessed them and said to them, "Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it..."

I have often wondered if God the Creator intended for people to be crowded into big cities. They say the world is getting overpopulated but back in 2000 I read an article that stated if we could get all the people in the world and put them back to back and side by side, the whole population would fit within the city limits of Jacksonville, Florida. I'm sure not everyone is meant to be a farmer and live out in the country. But I often wondered what would happen to the world if people just spread out a little. If people and governments would not be as selfish with the land and charge horrible prices for a piece of land that God the Creator made for people to inhabit and populate.

When God the Creator created man He said, "God blessed them and said to them, "Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it..." God did not act in ignorance. He knew exactly what He was doing. Unfortunately, because of Man's rebellion against God, he has turned around all the good that God the Creator meant for man to do and has followed his own selfish desires and not God the Creator's. When God said to be fruitful and multiply, it was not just a commandment given for the moment, it was intended for all time. God the Creator has a plan for mankind, if only man kind would stop and listen. Maybe if we learn to listen to Him, we would not be in the mess we are now.
