WHOSE MIND CREATED THAT? by Robert Soto

1 Chronicles 16:11-12 "Look to the LORD and his strength; seek his face always. Remember the wonders he has done, his miracles, and the judgments he pronounced."

I stand in awe over the technology that has been invented by man. There seems to be very little guessing when it comes to some of the equipment that God has allowed man to invent. It seems to make many jobs easier and help more people keep healthier. Yet if you were to ask the inventor if he praises God the Creator for giving him the wisdom and knowledge for his invention, he would be anthropocentric (man-centered) in his credits.

The problem is that we forget. When we first discovered or invented or created, we were thankful to God the Creator for the wisdom or knowledge. But eventually, we start to pat ourselves on our backs and gloat over our creation. In 1 Chronicles 16:11-12 we are encouraged to "Look to the LORD and his strength; seek his face always. Remember the wonders he has done, his miracles, and the judgments he pronounced." Always look to the Creator and remember what He has done in your life. Because all we are and all we have and all we do is from Him.
